This image was shot a month or so ago when it was beginning to get rather cold in the mornings. On this particular morning it was not only cold but also dead calm causing frost to form on the grasses in the meadows.
I put on my waders and headed down into this particular boggy meadow, waiting for the first light to hit the mountain peak. As I sit there waiting I watched a Father, Mother and Baby Moose go about their morning. They were only about 40 meters away and seemed totally unbothered by me. I did keep a close eye on the Bull Moose though, just incase he began to show signs of agitation.
This is a spectacular shot, my friend. Particularly the clearness and crispness of it all, the textures of the landscape seeming to potrude from the photo... Incredible work, very incredible.
