Welcome Spring by LukeAustin Welcome Spring by LukeAustin
Today is the first day of Spring in my part of the world (Australia).

Hopefully I have time to make the most of Spring as once Summer arrives the land dries right out and the sky is often cloudless for weeks at a time. Clear blue skies = BORING.

Fingers crossed this does better than my last submission.

Hope you like :)

this is awesome! how did you shoot into the sun without blowing everything out?

I framed the shot. Shot one exposure for the canola with my hand over the sun to prevent flare falling over the foreground. I then took my hand out of frame and took a shot exposing for the sun/sky to get the sunstar. The two shots were then overlayed and blended. I hope this helps. :)
